Perlick Ice Maker Repair Near Me in New Braunfels, Comal County, TX

A New Braunfels visit starts with a conversation, not a screwdriver. The technician asks when the problem began, whether it is constant or intermittent, and whether anything changed recently, such as a power flicker after a storm, a move, or a new water filter. Then comes testing: reading fault codes, checking voltage at the outlet, measuring resistance on heating elements and sensors, and watching the machine run through part of a cycle when that is safe to do. The goal is to find the failed component rather than swap parts until the symptom goes away.

Once the cause is confirmed you hear it in plain language, along with a written quote for the repair. Nothing gets replaced before you approve that number. If you would rather think it over, compare it with the price of a new unit, or talk to a landlord or spouse first, that is fine; the technician packs up and the quote stands. Approving on the spot usually means the work starts immediately, because the van carries common OEM parts such as door gaskets, igniters, drain pumps, inlet valves, defrost sensors, and dryer belts.
